Join to the Global Effort for Healthier Workplaces:

Conference theme: “Toward Sustainable Health Systems: Healthy Workers, Gender Equity, and New Leaderships”, looking to address the current global concerns in shortage of healthcare professionals and to improve their working conditions.

As part of the Global Health Workforce Week, we are happy to host the 13th Conference of the ICOH Scientific Committee (SC) on Occupational Health for Health Workers and continue the initiative launched in the previous conference held in New York City in 2023, where the first Global Day took place, with the participation of many international agencies. By continuing to include this Global Day, it will allow us a permanent effort to help meet the objective of improving the working conditions of health professionals with a global perspective. Furthermore, on this occasion in Barcelona, we will have a gender perspective, as a Joint Conference with our usual collaboration with the ICOH SC on Women, Health and Work, in addition to the SC on Industrial Hygiene, and the SC on Biohazards and Occupational Health.

We invite you to a full week of activities to explore these very important topics and jointly promote the progress towards the Occupational Health for Health Workers and the future of Decent Work.

Simultaneous English-Spanish translation service will be available during the 13th ICOH Joint Conference on Occupational Health for Health Workers on March 13 and 14, 2025. During the Global Day sessions on March 12th, the presentations will be in English.
